Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, Right to Health, Maputo, Mozambique

Helena was born and raised in Southern Mozambique’s Maputo Province. After pursuing coursework in Computer Systems Analysis and Programming she went on to get a degree in Planning, Administration and Management from the Universidade Pedagógica de Moçambique. Helena spent the first nine years of her career in the Ministry of Women and Social Action, where she was responsible for database management. In 2010 she left her role in government to work for World Vision, first in Zambezia Province and then in Gaza Province. As Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Helena was responsible for overseeing ongoing M&E efforts, as well as for the design and implementation of both qualitative and quantitative research. She joined Namati in August of 2016.
