Mutanu Kyany’a

Global Network Associate, Nairobi, Kenya

Mutanu Kyany’a works at the intersection of communications, technology and culture. She is passionate in advancing the changes pursued by feminist, climate, ecological and migrant justice movements.

For over 7 years, Mutanu has worked with communities in Africa looking at techniques by which expression and transmission, enabled by digital media, helps empower society through engagement, inclusion and participation.

Before joining Namati, Mutanu worked at JENA, FEMNET and the African Digital Heritage where she coordinated the #Skills4Culture Project.
