Naw Hla Thazin joined Namati in October 2017, where she is primarily responsible for data entry.
For over three years she worked as an intern and a Program Associate in the governance sector at Action Aid Myanmar. In 2016, she held the post of Governance and Civic Engagement Thematic Officer in HELVETAS Swiss Interco operation Myanmar. Her primary focus areas to date include Program Management together with Women’s Empowerment, Youth Empowerment, Project Cycle Management, Partnership Building, and Land Governance by using a bottom-up participation approach.
Naw Hla earned her college degree with an Associate of Art and Diploma in Advanced English and Community Studies, with a focus on the Thai-Burma Borderline area. She is now pursuing a University Degree at Yangon University and is an active participant in Youth Volunteering for emergency response fundraising activities.
Naw Hla enjoys travelling, singing, reading and volunteering.
