Grassroots Justice (Video)

The law is supposed to safeguard the rights of all. But the United Nations estimates that 4 billion people live outside the protection of the law, mostly because they are poor. These communities and individuals often lack the information and the expertise they need to combat injustice.

In response, the Open Society Foundations and Namati are supporting a network of grassroots justice groups. Groups that are helping people use the law to defend their rights.
