Sport for Social Change Network Zambia Chapter

The Sport for Social Change Network (SSCN) Zambia Chapter represents a milestone in the field of development through sport. It represents a total of 15 Sports for Development organisations have come together to share, network and build capacity with special focusing on utilsing the power of sport to contribute to social change.

The Zambia Chapter represents 15 Sport for Development organisations who have joined forces to collaborate, share and network with special focus on using the power of sport to contribute to social change in Zambia. Furthermore, the Zambia Chapter is part of the larger Sport for Social Change Network Southern Africa, which is coordinated in South Africa.

The Sport for Social Change Network Zambia Chapter is coordinated by the National Organisation for Women in Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation (NOWSPAR).

Other network members include: Sport In Action, Breakthrough Chiparamba Sports Academy, Edusport Foundation, Bauleni United Sports Academy, LifeSkills Development Foundation, Kalim Sports Council, Beyond Sport Integrated: coaches across boaders, Grassroot Soccer, Sport In Rural Areas, Play Soccer Zambia, Olympic Youth Development Centre and the New Wave Academy.

The Sport for Social Change Network Zambia Chapter will continue to incorporate new like minded organizations for membership and will seek strategic partnerships both local and international for collaboration.
