Training Manual for Local Administrators and Leaders on Women Land and Property Rights

This Training Manual is developed for local administrators and leaders for the Centre for Rights Education, Governance and Development’s (CREGD) Human Rights and Social Justice Programme that focuses on women property inheritance rights to bring widows and orphans to gain use and control of family property after the death of their husbands and fathers respectively. The training is designed to enable local community players/ actors, who, in this context are referred to as ‘Courts of First Instance’ because of the role they play in instances of property ownership disputes arising in the community.
