Understanding Community-Based REDD+: A Manual for Indigenous Communities

This document was created for the purpose of assisting indigenous communities to understand the REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) process and its implications. The manual is intended to empower indigenous communities with the knowledge and skills needed to join a REDD+ project, and if they do, to be able to fully and effectively participate in it.

This document was originally released through the Hakí Network and is copyrighted on behalf of the International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs (IWGIA) and Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP).
