Holds a Master Degree in Social Development and Mangement and is experienced in community organization and engagement through social mobilization with a wealth of knowledge in Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation. Promotes Community action learning as a way of holding communities accountable in implementing their own action plans based on their prioritization and real felt need. Conducts targeted approach based on need and evidence. Cordinates the activities of Sustainable Action CBO by providing technical expertise in the areas of girls empowerment, curative services, disease prevention services, service delivery to adolescents and young people ( Reproductive health mentorship, rights education, mentorship and life skills including provision of health services ). The CBO operates a health clinic where the general population, including adolescents and young people come for free health education services. The CBO engages the services of mentors who also double as community paralegals and mainly conduct house to house visit and conduct need based education at family level. Promotes Education by conducting life skills in selected schools mainly as a tool to empower girls education. We tackle Gender Based Violence in form of education during the household visits and also give services both curative anD psychosocial to those clients of GBV. We also tackle Policy advocacy especially on women and girls access and rights in sexual and reproductive health. My technical assignments include linking the CBO with like minded organizations through partnership building, linking people to the required legal services especially the Government line ministries and probono lawyers, Networking and collaboration. I cordinate a team of mentors, Nursing Officer, HIV Testing Services provider, Social workers and volunteers on attachment. By joining the network, am looking forward to learning together with network partners, supporting network needs through knowledge sharing, learning from experiences of other network members as we gain from Research gaps presented, exchange programs, organization (CBO) publicity, Conducting Needs Assessment, Source of Expertise and knowledge.
