Olena Mytnyk manages Legal Awareness Expert Group of the Directorate of Human Rights, Access to Justice and Legal Awareness at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
Was born in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In June 2016 graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a Master Degree in Law. Currently is working at PhD paper on the role of European Court of Human Rights in the mechanism for judicial protection of human rights in Ukraine.
Has been working at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine since 2015.
In December 2017 joined the team of the newly created Directorate for Human Rights, Access to Justice and Legal Awareness of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The main goal is to develop the legal awareness public policy, namely by means of legal empowerment.
Key responsibilities:
 Increasing of legal awareness of citizens
 Improvement of legal mechanisms for citizens to be aware of their rights and freedoms
 Monitoring and evaluation of legal awareness public policy
