My name is Brian Wamukota, I am a youth, volunteer (VSO, Red Cross, ujamaa), business development and management consultant, as a consultant I mainly specialize in micro small enterprise and startups in Kenya. I try to look at the current market demands, market analysis and why most startups fail in Kenya and Africa at large. Niche marketing and youth empowerment.
I am a result oriented Enterprise Development Professional with experience in sourcing and developing businesses, sales, responding to sales inquiries and conducting market research to address an organization's sales and marketing requirements. I have strong planning and coordination skills and the ability to formulate policies, manage daily operations, execute market strategies and monitor adherence to the same. In addition, I am capable of identifying every aspect of the structure and strategy that result in the efficient delivery of products and services to customers. My strengths and skills in sales and marketing can be summarized in my ability to define value propositions, build strong branding, develop integrated sales and marketing programs, and conduct research and analysis to provide the foundation for developing and penetrating markets through targeted initiatives for long-term sustainability and growth, and a passion for youth development and empowerment.
I have worked with Vijana reloaded as a lead facilitator where I trained youths on ICT, entrepreneurship and social skills for two years from 2016 to January 2018, currently I am also part of facilitators in the world bank project (Kenya Youth Employment Opportunity Programme) in collaboration with the national government, where we train youths of between (18 - 34) years on life skills and core business skills as we try to reduce the unemployment demise in Kenya.
I have been a writer of academic and other articles concerning youths, a micro small enterprise in Kenya, women in business, and changing market dynamics.
