Catherine is a Program Officer and is responsible for design and implementation of PILnet’s Hong Kong program, aiming at improving access to justice and building the community of public interest-minded lawyers and law students in Hong Kong.

With an aspiration to combat inequalities, pursue social justices and civil liberties, Catherine began her career with the Civic Party, a political party striving for democracy, and obtained experiences in organizing political campaign, social movement and fundraising events. She has growing interest in human rights in Hong Kong and China through her political participation and work experience with Chinese NGO partners in a London-based NGO promoting human rights and public participation in China.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Catherine holds a LL.M in Human Rights with distinction from the University of Hong Kong in 2016 and a BA in Social Policy & Administration from the Hong Kong Polytechnic
