I have a law degree from Universidade Federal de Viçosa, a master's degree in International Relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and a doctorate in International Law and Economic Integration from Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). I was a professor of Public International Law at PUC-Rio, and a professor of Constitutional Law at the Federal University of Viçosa, and I am currently a professor at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, where I teach Public International Law and Human Rights in the undergraduate program and in the Masters in Law and Innovation at the Law School.
I also coordinate Homa - Center for Human Rights and Business (www.homacdhe.com) and I'm Chief Editor of Homa Publica - Revista Internacional de Derechos Humanos y Empresas. I have experience in the areas of International Constitutional Law, Public International Law and International Relations, working mainly on the following topics: human rights; business and human rights; and international systems for the protection of human rights. I participate, through Homa, in the Dismantle Corporate Power Network, which brings together more than 200 civil society organizations, social movements and international research centers (www.stopcorporateimpunity.org).
