I have over 6 years of solid record of post-PhD programme and research, graduate teaching and supervision, capacity building and knowledge translation for evidence-uptake in the areas of health systems strengthening, community engagement and accountability and mixed-methods approaches to complex research. I have held positions in international organisations such as KEMRI-Wellcome Trust, Oxfam GB, NEPAD, the African Population and Health Research Centre, universities in Hong Kong, Cambridge, and Nairobi. My capabilities have been recognised through several international prestigious awards such as the Gates Cambridge Fellowship, The European Commission Erasmus Fellowship, The Shell Centenary Leadership Award, among others. I earned my graduate degrees from the Universities of Amsterdam, Cambridge, Copenhagen and Geneva. Besides these, I am Gates Cambridge Alumnus committed to using my skills in the service of the less fortunate in society.
