I am an advocate for human rights, legal empowerment, and social development. I have worked in several capacities in Southeast Asia, China, and the United States in this field to uplift underrepresented or oppressed voices. I have worked in Thailand for a legal education NGO putting on pro bono conferences in various Southeast Asian countries like Myanmar, Indonesia, and Malaysia. I taught English in the rural and impoverished town of Bachok, Kelantan in Malaysia. I recently graduated from Tsinghua University through the Schwarzman Scholars Program receiving my master's degree in Global Affairs. In the U.S., I have worked on voter registration campaigns, for U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley on Capitol Hill and for Washington State Senator Reuven Carlyle. I have organized petition signing campaigns for same-sex marriage freedom. I seek to continue this work for which I hold the highest passion.
