I am a Kenyan and Somalia nationals who has passion to serve justice and protection in the Society. beside diverting my career recently due to opportunity, i still believe the work of justice and protection in the society. i previously worked with Kenya Human Rights Commission as a research assistant in the implementation of citizenship and immigration law and some other community based organization that work on protection and justice. i am now in Somalia and there are a lot to be explored to put into practice the law of Somalia since the rule of law of the country collapsed two decades ago.
I heard a good discussion with Laura Goodwin in Nairobi when i was with Kenya Human Rights Commission, she has really inspired me so much but unfortunately i missed an opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and the passion i have for justice and law until recently i formed this organization; Center for Women and Child Protection in Somalia.
Ibrahim Abdi is the network champion (main point of contact) for Centre for Women and Child Protection in Somalia.
