CLEAR Kenya seeks to contribute towards a just, stable and caring society living in dignity and fulfilling their God-given calling and potential by,

Working with the vulnerable and marginalized communities in Kenya and East Africa Region to provide quality legal aid on pro-bono or subsidized cost basis, providing legal education through training and rights awareness creation and conducting on- going legal research that builds civic competence and enhances law reform.

This is done through developing programs aimed at:
• increasing access to quality legal aid through legal advising and representing.
• providing legal education through training and rights awareness creation clinics.
•Contributing to law reforms through on-going legal research and publication

I am a holder of Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Jomo Kenyatta University of agriculture and technology. With working experience in both NGOs and government on issues of data collection and research, I have well knowledge of ethical issues, data collection and data security Director in community based organization-semi arid health initiative that focus on health,Gender Empowering,CVE,Governance and leadership and peace building with focus on youth and vulnerable populations

We empower and reach out to those incarcerated in remand centres, high schools offering representation if necessary. and Community Legal Education through legal awareness clinics. The mission of NAMATI ties with that of CLEAR Kenya in advancing Justice. CLEAR primarily focuses on Legal empowerment. We look forward to the sharing of essential resources to assist in the vision of CLEAR including academic research. The Platform offers an opportunity for networking.

I am a lawyer . I Coordinate Kenya Parliamentary Caucus on Sustainable Development Goals and Business. I am also a Programs and legal officer at Kibra Constituency in the office of the area member of Parliament. I have recently also become the Secretary Director to Justice and Environment Foundation. I would like to promote linkages between justice and development and promote such affiliated partnerships.


Sarah Stephens

I am a UK qualified lawyer with a Masters in Human Rights law, currently living and working as a consultant to various NGO's and government agencies in Tanzania. I am also an overseas project manager for an access to justice legal centre in Kenya which specialises in child and women's rights, where I conduct quarterly visits.
