For the past three decades, the eastern DRC has been in a state of continuous crisis, the main consequences of which are serious human rights violations. Millions of people have been killed as a result of this violence, and there is no justice or reparation. And human rights defenders are ill-equipped to carry out the necessary actions. COLIBRI DRC asbl’s mission is to contribute professionally to the protection of human rights, in particular through capacity building, monitoring and advocacy. We are convinced that there can be no peace without justice and reparation, and that impunity is an illegitimate bonus and an insult to the victims of massive human rights and IHL violations
