James Kumakech is a Policy Advocacy Officer with Community Uplift and Welfare Development (CUWEDE) with over 12 years experience in leading a Community Based Organisation (CBO). He is involved in providing overall direction to the organisation, and currently a researcher with Advocate Coalition on Development and Environment (ACODE) on key local Government Council Performance, Budget Transparency and Accountability, Human Rights and Good Governance. By joining this network, I look forward to sharing my expert skills across the board, but more importantly learn from others new skills and techniques on fostering Human Rights Based approach in my daily work in order to empower the grassroots population to realize their rights.
