Cosmos is a non-profit organization that aims to develop civic engagement, entrepreneurship, and participatory democracy in Tunisia through soft skills training, political consultancy, and the Elite Center program. The ultimate objective is to introduce young people in rural and marginalized areas to civic engagement activities and volunteerism within their communities. The Elite Center in Kalaat Al-Andalus serves as a civic engagement space where various events, workshops, and training sessions take place, as well as an English language cultural center designed for sharing information related to international opportunities for youth, as scholarships, fellowships, training and conferences that will promote civic engagements, a culture of Global Citizenship Education and political consultancy.
The Elite Center program. We introduce young people in rural and marginalized areas to civic engagement activities and volunteerism within their communities. Through our work, we try to convey a new way of relating, feeling and living, but in turn make participants models to act as multipliers in their own environment, their peer group, spreading the message of legal empowerment.
