I am a trained professional with over 10 years in gender and program management. I am a supporter of pastoralist women elevation to all level of leadership and improvement of their livelihood. Currently I am the program Manager Policy and Gender at Dryland Learning and Capacity Building Initiative(DLCI). I am also supporting Pastoralist Parliamentary Group (PPG) Women Caucus in the larger PPG that we are the secretariat to as DLCI. DLCI has been supporting the pastoralists Communities in securing their land by sensitizing them on the CLA 2016 and its regulations. I am not an expert on legal issues and I would like to be empowered for me so that I can be of more help to the pastoralist communities. I would be glad to be a part of this powerful network.

I am a community land right activist and public educator. A leader of a national NGO and Head of a recognized Secretariat of the largest parliamentary caucus (PPG) in Kenya. I am passionate about the full implementation of the Community Land Act 2016 in Kenya in order to secure communal land tenure and advocate for the recognition and protection of unregistered community lands in Kenya. Support legal registration of the pastoralist community groups and community land righst in all Kenyan pastoralists areas. I want to be part of a global movement for legal empowerment. Meet with the practitioners from around the world, access practical resources and join international learning exchanges and share knowledge of global practice with the community groups seeking to secure their community lands, empower grass-root actors and link them to the global network of practitioners and facilitate them to join the global movement.
