women from Butembo • Meeting in North Kivu / Democratic Republic of Congo, in the context of an exchange session on women’s participation in community management• Aspiring to the ideals of peace, gender and good governance contained in the international legal instruments ratified by our country such as, Resolution 1325, the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights ‘Man and O’ MDs as well as so many other national legal texts such as Article 14 of the DRC Constitution which advocates the representation of women at all institutions and at all levels. • With a desire to make a significant contribution to making the Congo better by assuming the social role of every human being in general and of every woman in particular; We agree as follows: CHAPTER I: NAME, REGISTERED OFFICE AND DURATION Art.l: It is created in the DRC a network called “Dynamique Feminine for Good Governance, (DYFEGOU)”. Art. 2: The “Virtual” head office is located in the city of Butembo, in the North Kivu province of DRC. The seat may be transferred to another city in the DRC by decision of the General Assembly. Art.3. The “Feminine Dynamics for Good Governance, (DYFEGOU)”. Is constituted for an indefinite period. CHAPTER II. : AREAS OF INERVENTION: Art.4 The “Feminine Dynamics for Good Governance, (DYFEGOU)”. aims to contribute, through local and regional initiatives to the construction of the rule of law in a gender approach, peace and democracy in the DRC. The intervention themes include: A. Gender and peace approach; B. Conflict prevention and management: C. Human rights; D. Democracy, good governance-election observation; E. Capacity building; F. Initiation to leadership, education in civic life; G. Freedom of expression.
