The Foundation works with indigenous communities on the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua, on contributing to access to justice, sustainable development on their natural resources with identity.

VERALL OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of the foundation is to defend the rights of the inhabitants of the Atlantic coast
of Nicaragua for free and promote the sustainable integral development of the population

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
a) Advise, represent and defend the inhabitants of scarce economic resources in all

The strategic lines of the foundation are:
1. Strengthen the capacities of territorial governments / Indigenous and ethnic communities to
improve its political, social and environmental management.
2. Accompany access to justice of territorial, communal and other leaders of scarce
economic resources and influence the public institutions and rights mechanisms
international organizations to promote the collective rights of Indigenous Peoples and
ethnic communities.
3.Promote gender equality and nonviolence against women by promoting processes of
sensitization and training to indigenous and ethnic women. Increase the participation of
women in decision-making in public spaces at the communal, territorial and
municipal, as well as the economic independence of women.
