I am an American advocate with a particular interest in financial sector consumer protection and access to justice. I established GALA in 2013 to support lawyers in developing countries with the desire to provide pro bono legal assistance to the poor and those advocating for the public interest. Lawyers affiliated with GALA and most board members are professionals I met while working at the International Development Law Organization, (IDLO) which focused on the rule of law and training programmes for jurists from developing countries.
Jami H. Solli is the network champion (main point of contact) for Global Alliance for Legal Aid.
