My name is Melkamu Belachew Moges. Currently, I work at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University. I have been working in the university for the last 13 years in teaching, research and community services. I have assumed several research Coordination positions. I have specialized in land law, property law and human rights to land in three countries namely, Ethiopia (LLB), Sweden (MSc) and Australia-Melbourne (PhD). I have actively been involved in international conferences and networks in land mainly in the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) events wherein I presented papers in Stockholm (2008), Israel (2009), Sydney (2010) and Malaysia (2014). I am also a practicing lawyer where I work especially on land disputes. Women's land rights feature one of the most frequent in my practice. So I am interested in networks that work on women's land rights so I can further improve my activity of women empowerment.
Dr. Melkamu Moges is the network champion (main point of contact) for Institute of Land Administration.
