Mission The Mission of this proposed project is to put in place a framework to accelerate implementation of laws, policies and programs for prevention and response to GBV and HIV/AIDS, Disabilities

Focus: Gender-based violence

The purpose of this proposed project is to enhance alertness of gender-based violence and HIV/AIDS and its effects by conducting awareness, outreach and training activities in four counties in Nyanza Region, with main focus in Siaya and later Homabay and Kisumu and Migori respectively. This will be carried with primary and secondary school students, teachers, PTA members, out of school youth, members of CBOs, youth-sports clubs and local community members.

This will be achieved by series of group sessions of one hour each with 16 classes in 4 schools (one primary and one secondary in each of the three counties)  with children below eighteen years old at the primary level and secondary level. Community awareness work without of school youth, people living with disability, youth groups, sports clubs and elderly in the three identified counties. A two day peer educator training workshop for 32 students; a two day peer educators training or facilitator workshop for 20 teachers and 4 PTA members and a two day community leaders workshop for 16 leaders from the 4 counties.

Iam Mr.Samson Juma Ayieko a Kenyan citizen aged 45 years old and married.However, Iam physically challenges person, this is as a result of polio which affected me, when I was 2 years old and it resulted to my left leg and left hand being paralyzed but Iam walking using a supporting stick.I was brought up in a very poor background as an orphan living with my mother only.
I am a graduate with a degree in Project Management.
I am an advocate for the Rights on children with my focus on the orphan girl-child to be protected against sexual abuse, early and forced marriage and also Female Genetal Mutilation FGM.Apart from this we are also advocating for young Women who are widows and are affected by HIV/AIDS.
We are championing the inculusitivity of children with all forms of Disabilities.Many children with Disabilities are seriously neglected in the rural communities in Kenya and there's nobody championing for the rights to pursue education, heath care services, ownership to parents properties.
We are ensure they are provided with adequate school fees, clothing, food and shelter.
Iam the Executive Director of our Organization known as KEL-KAMARAMI PLWAS COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION.
I am joining this network to give our Organization an exposure to the world of Donors to fund our project in Kenya.We have been in operation for four years now without any Donor to fund our project and we currently seek an urgent to support our key programs.As we have many cases of defilement and rapes to the orphans-girls in our coverage areas of four counties in Kenya:-Siaya,Kisumu, Homa-Bay and Migori.
Many of these cases has been done by the close relatives of these very vulnerable children and the key suspects are the fathers,brothers and cousins.We are preparing to prosecute these culprits in courts immediately.
