KUDHEIHA Workers is one of the affiliates of Central Organization Trade Unions – Kenya (COTU-K) and has been in existence since 1940s. It has branches covering the nation wholly with its branches all over the country. It has worked closely with various local and international organizations as an affiliate and as a partner such as Oxfam, IUF, ITUC, IDWF, ILO, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Solidarity Center, among others, in various aspects of labour and human rights activism.

The organization has been in the forefront in fighting for various rights of workers including lobbying, advocacy in addition to the issues pertaining to safe labour migration and the rights of migrant workers at large. It has also got engagements with the Ministry of Labour, Federation of Kenya Employers and other government agencies in regards to solving labour and employment disputes and in regards to social protection.

It has seen the successful engagement and involvement in the negotiations and signings of various Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) towards good industrial relation and harmony between the employers and employees in terms of favorable terms and conditions of employment relationships.
