With several years of experience in legal practice, both civil and criminal, and as the head of the institution, my vision for NALA is for it to be a strengthened national institution in The Gambia which will ensure that fundamental legal rights enshrined in the Constitution are enforced, realised and upheld, especially with regard to people charged with criminal offences regardless of background.
