Kien Nguyen Van has been working as a researcher at Plant Resources Center (PRC) since 2000. His responsibility is management of vegetable genetic resources at plant genebank division. Graduated bachelor of biochemistry and Master of applied biology in Hanoi National University in 1999 and 2009, respectively, he also received the secondary degree of English language in Hanoi University of foreign languages studying in 2007. His interest focuses on field of plant genetic resources conservation and use intervention for food and agriculture and relevant fields. But, he also keeps in his mind how to his duty could directly serve/ involve to socio-economic and cultural activities such as health, culture, society and economic.. As a member of various national and international networks of research and development e-consultation on FNS FAO, Vietnam wetland association (VNWA), International network for Edible Aroids (INEA), Poverty and Conservation Linking Group (PCLG), Research Groups -, ANSWER, SANNI network, SCP clearing house, research gate,, UNESCO, CBD, and etc, several projects were granted for his studies. Under dramatically changes of science and technology, his expertise and experience should catch up with these advances to meet NEEDS of future jobs
