Mission. To work with partners to promote research in the area of disability, carry out awareness and policy advocacy and make strategic interventions in specific areas for long term inclusion of PWDs

Rights for Disability Development Foundation started in 2013 and its aim is to advocate for the protection and promotion for the rights of persons with disabilities in the line with UNCRPD and Sustainable Development Goals also transforming their livelihoods.

Our Vision. Healthy and productive persons with disabilities whose universal rights and freedoms are protected and respected by society

Activities:

Human Rights, Health, Advocacy, Inclusive Education, and etc as above in the areas of focus.

Objectives of RDDF:

RDDF is formed to;

  1. Promote unity and cooperation among members.
  2. Advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities and to reduce discrimination and stigma.
  3. Improve the livelihoods of persons with disabilities.
  4. Ensure the broader social inclusion of persons with disability in society.
  1. Core Values.

The values of the association shall be:

  1. Respecting self and others – putting humanity first and ensuring a solid team spirit – within RDDF and between RDDF and its stakeholders.
  2. Upholding openness and honestly – to attain timely transparency and accountability.
  • Advancing dependability – to optimize efficient, effective and impacting service delivery.
  1. Upholding beneficence – to minimize permissive (diversionary) resource deployment and utilization.
  2. Appreciating and practicing professional courtesy – to celebrate while safeguarding human, material and financial resources at RDDFs disposal.
