The objectives of SCAEF are as follows:
To advocate for the recognition of the restoration of the statehood of Southern Cameroon.
To investigate, document, litigate and advocate on human rights abuses perpetrated by the Republic of Cameroon’s regime and its agencies on the citizens of The Federal Republic of Southern Cameroons.
The empowerment of all Southern Cameroonians in exile
To provide social, legal and economic assistance to Southern Cameroonian exiles and Refugees
To assist victims of human rights abuses obtain justice where it is being denied.
To provide access to education and vocational training.
To foster a spirit of fellowship among those in exile.
To provide any other assistance necessary for the dignity and well-being of all exiles from the Southern Cameroons, in particular victims of torture, political violence and other human rights abuses.
To monitor violations of the rights of those in exile with a view to work towards their protection.
To dissuade Southern Cameroonian exiles from crime
To cultivate and foster a sense of national pride and patriotism among Southern Cameroonians exiles with a view to facilitating return to The Federal Republic Of Southern Cameroons after statehood has been completely restored
