The ANSA Arab World was an initiative to promote the use of social accountability methods and tools in the Arab region. The initiative included members from seven Arab countries: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Yemen.

CARE International in Egypt was the secretary for the network with technical and financial support from the World Bank. The objectives of the initiative were i) to raise awareness about social accountability;iii) build capacity on concepts and tools; iii) provide technical and financial assistance to implement social accountability tools and iv) strengthen knowledge sharing around tools and approaches.

The ANSA-Arab World network has been designed around four issues, or “pillars”, that can be considered as key components of social accountability. These pillars help shape the activities of ANSA-Arab World namely:
1. Access to information
2. Budget transparency
3. Freedom of association
4. Service delivery

Moufida have more than ten professional years proven experiences and strong knowledge of the region and of the sector of civil Society and youth. Leads technical advice, capacity building, coaching and event management. Moderating, coaching and facilitating conferences, international forums, Hub and platforms, high-level panels, seminars, retreats, TOT’s workshops bringing together more than 25 participants (online and off line).

Ms. Moufida Guirmani Oueslati is Certified Professional Facilitator, coach, Trainer & Consultant, and Social Accountability Policy Advisor Expert with over 10 years. Ms. Oueslati holds a Master’s degree in Management of International Commerce and Political Development and is certified by the World Bank institute as training trainer on social accountability. Ms. Oueslati has extensive knowledge of NGO policy international best practices and wide expertise on issues related to CSOs, youth, policy dialogue and enabling environment. Furthermore, she is exceedingly knowledgeable of EU procedures and EU Project Cycle Management, having completed more than 30 assignments funded by the EU on the training trainer, coaching, facilitation and implementation of policy paper tool in the public private sector, civil society. strengthening projects on peace building, social inclusion and conflict mitigation approaches, post-crisis/post-conflict, gender equality and health sectors. Ms. Oueslati has implemented projects community score card and policy paper in the education sector, on conflict resolution and participative organizational skills for NGOs and public administration in the south Mediterranean countries (including Libya, Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia, Moroco, Leabnon and Jordan ) as well as on the topic of structured policy dialogue in conflict resolution, rehabilitation; resilience, development emergency contexts, Community Development, strong experience research background in multiple languages . Conduct a desk-work and online mapping of existing information resources in English, Arabic, and French. Designing and delivering training courses on project cycle management, facilitating and designing social change communications workshops in the field to build capacity of staff and partners in social change communications, including strategy development, practical methods and tools to boost the skills, Problem solving, Creativity, Conflict management, Public speaking, Assertive and intercultural communication, Finally, as an acknowledged regional expert
