The Egyptian Center for Public Policy Studies (ECPPS) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-for-profit organization whose mission is to reform the legal and economic system in Egypt in order to achieve the principles of free market, minimum state, individual freedom and the rule of law, through:

  1. RESEARCH: Performing timely research on key policy and legal issues, formulating and proposing innovative and alternative solutions to the current legal, economical and social problems facing Egypt.

  2. ADVOCACY: Engaging policy-makers to implement these solutions and raise awareness of local stakeholders on the need for reforms in Egypt.

  3. OUTREACH: Promoting public dialogue to defend these solutions, mobilizing and building the capacity of the Egyptian civil society to be more independent and free and participate in decision making.

Ahmed Aboueldahab The Advocacy and Outreach Officer at ECPPS. Ahmed graduated with a Bachelor of Law from Cairo University in 2010. Since 2007 have volunteered and participated in many activities within the university campus (simulation of the Egyptian Parliament, Model League of the Arab States). After graduated Aboueldahab volunteered with different Egyptian civil society organizations such as Andalus Institute for Tolerance and Anti-violence Studies (AITAS) and the Egyptian Union of Liberal Youth(EULY), In 2012 Ahmed became the general coordinator of the Egyptian Union of Liberal Youth, responsible for training programs and workshops organized by EULY for young people. as advanced in his career, Ahmed became the administrative coordinator of the Union, and in 2013 joined the Egyptian Center for Public Policy Studies (ECPPS) Advocacy and Outreach team .in January 2016 Ahmed had promotion in his career as a head of Advocacy and outreach team at ECPPS.

Ahmed is the ECPPS programs director and Deputy Executive Director, Ahmed Graduated from Faculty of Law, Cairo University in 2009, during his student years, he volunteered in many student activities such as EPM, then he volunteered in many NGOs, most notably the Egyptian Union of Liberal Youth.
Ahmed attended many trainings in legal research and public policies, he started working for ECPPS as Legal researcher in 2012, during this period he issued several research papers, reports, releases on rule of law, individual freedoms and criminal justice besides organizing seminars and conferences about them.
Ahmed works on applying policies and solutions offered by ECPPS on the ground, in cooperation and association with political parties organizations, parliamentarians, government representatives and others, through putting these policies to public and community discussion and creating a supporting public opinion.
