Trans Vanguard is a non-profit making organization that was founded by the professionals from development and business fraternities. The organization is founded with the support from Beauty Pageant Association of Lesotho (BPAL) members` pool to empower and engage adolescent girls, young women and at-risk people to realize their potentials in leadership, development and green entrepreneurship. challenges they face in their communities.

Trans Vanguard targets young people because the process of childhood and adolescence is a period of preparation for adulthood during which time several key developmental experiences occur. Besides physical and sexual maturation, these experiences include movement toward social and economic independence, and development of identity, the acquisition of skills needed to carry out adult relationships and roles, and the capacity for abstract reasoning. We focus on three thematic areas: leadership, development and green entrepreneurship, mainstreaming peace and conflict resolution; health food security and nutrition; education and training; SGBV; emergency management; WASH; and, climate change. Our approach include advocacy utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) platforms.
Reentseng Felix Letsoela is the network champion (main point of contact) for Trans Vanguard.
