It Works in Ethiopia. Its mission is provide qualitative and accessible free legal services to the less privileged and vulnerable societies in Wollega Zones of Oromia Region of Ethiopia.

Wollega University legal Aid center was started in the year 2012 with three centers. Later, the university has increased the number of Free Legal Aid Centers to sixteen (16) which are found indifferent towns of Wollega zones and West Shoa. In all the sixteen centers, free legal services are being delivered by using law students/teachers and by hiring legal professionals. Nowadays, 10 centers are functional while three centers are about to be transferred to Dambi Dollo University and three centers are closed because of lack of legal experts. The ten legal experts are employed on a contractual basis on each center and their contract is subjected to renewal bi annually. Wollega University Legal aid, since its inception has undertaken different activities aimed at expediting its free legal aid services, especially to the less privileged and the vulnerable groups in Wollega zones.
