Youth Net and Counseling YONECO is a leading youth serving Non Governmental Organization established in 1997 to respond to the social economic challenges affecting youth, women and children. YONECO has offices in the 11 districts of Lilongwe, Mchinji, Ntchisi, Rumphi, Nkhatabay, Ntcheu, Balaka, Machinga, Mangochi, Mulanje and Zomba while also implementing projects with national level coverage. The organization boasts of innovative strategies of reaching out to youth, women and children. Among the key innovations of YONECO are the National Helpline services, operating a first ever community of interest national radio station (YFM) in the NGO sector, vibrant IT department which reaches out to project beneficiaries through various social media platforms and receives feedback from beneficiaries. YONECO also has a children’s band and cultural troupe for community mobilization and information dissemination.

a young female human right activist who is a nurse by profession. working in a non government organization as a coordinator of a project that offers HIV/human rights services to marginalized population which include female sex worker, adolescents girls and orphans/vulnerable children. a human rights activist. i would like to join the network to get knowledgeable on how we can improve access to human rights for marginalized population and also get an experience on how others do it from other areas.
