Livestream: Expert Analysis of Post-2015 High-Level Panel Report

On May 30, 2013, the UN Secretary General’s High Level Panel of Eminent Persons on Post-2015 Development Planning issued its report outlining the key priorities for the post-2015 development goals.  The report calls for the international community to recognize peace and good governance as “core elements of well-being, not extras” and encourages governments to respect the rule of law and access to justice, among other principles.  Namati and the Open Society Foundations are rallying allies from around the world to campaign for the incorporation of justice and legal empowerment into the post-2015 development agenda.

On June 6th, join the UN Millennium Campaign and the United Nations Development Programme for the live stream of an expert roundtable discussion of  the report.  The discussion will take place from 9am to 1pm East Africa Time.
