New Research: Expanding Access to Legal Services in Alberta through E-Learning

Researchers at Athabasca University, Canda, have released a research report, Expanding Access to Legal Services in Alberta through E-Learning, which makes recommendations to the Alberta Law Foundation.

The report identifies the information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure available to assist with delivering legal services in rural remote and Aboriginal communities in Northern Alberta. To satisfy unmet demands in these regions, the report calls for targeted legal education and legal service delivery (particularly through e-learning).
