Chadreque was born in the Maxaquene neighborhood of Maputo. He was educated at the Namaacha Secondary School and the Pedagogical University of Maputo, studying institutional development philosophy. He previously worked as an activist with the anti-AIDS group Hundzukane in Namaacha, in coordination with the Peace Corps and PSI-Jeit.
