Custodio is originally from Marracuene and has a degree in journalism from the Escola Superior de Jornalismo. He previously worked with Ajuda de Desenvolvimento de Povo Para Povo, a Mozambican NGO working towards equitable social and economic development as well as Associao Kindlimuka, an NGO assisting people living with HIV/AIDS and their families. He is also committed to developing a community communications project.
In his free time, Custodio enjoys reading literary and scientific texts as well as writing and reciting poetry.
