Fatima was born in Tongo, in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone and moved to Freetown with her family as a child. She attended Ahmadiyya Secondary School in Freetown, and worked as a security guard for several years before joining Namati in 2016 as the Freetown Office Assistant.
