Nélia Nhatsave has worked as a social activist and volunteer, since her adolescence, in the program on the sexual and reproductive rights of adolescents and young people.
She has over 10 years of experience in public health, having worked as a supervisor in the National Women’s and Children’s Health Week campaign and teaching the courses of General Medicine Technicians, Preventive Medicine and Environmental Sanitation Technicians and Nursing in Maternal and Child Health. Nélia has also been responsible for nursing in several Health Facilities and has worked with the Child Health Program in Gaza Province.
She has a degree in pediatric nursing and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public health at the Community Health Department of Eduardo Mondlane University.
