Broadening Access to Justice in Rwanda: analysing the opportunity for Public Interest Litigation

This paper analyzes the current state and role of public interest litigation (PIL) in Rwanda.  Jennifer Escott analyzes the opportunity for PIL in Rwanda and suggests a strategy for the Legal Aid Forum (LAF) to take this phenomenon forward in order to benefit the indigent population and vulnerable groups in Rwanda.
