Governance and the Post-2015 Development Framework

Democratic governance has not received enough attention in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), but is increasingly advocated for the post-2015 development agenda. Against this backdrop, this series of Issue Briefs have been prepared by the United Nations Development Programme as part of the Global Thematic Consultation on Governance and the Post-2015 Development Agenda. This tool includes the first Issue Briefs in the series, “Anti-Corruption for the Achievement of Sustainable Human Development,” “Integrating Rule of Law in the Post-2015 Development Framework,” “Localizing Sustainable Human Development: Consideration for the Post-2015 Development Agenda,” and “Parliament’s Role in Defining and Promoting the Post-2015 Development Agenda.”
