La presente obra contiene una muestra del trabajo en México de algunas organizaciones de la sociedad civil en el litigio en derechos humanos a nivel nacional. La suma de ensayos que alberga la presente obra permite conocer el naciente interés que en México existe por explorar y transitar una ruta hasta hace poco ajena al mundo del activismo en derechos humanos. Nos muestra que los derechos humanos abrazan agendas específicas que van desde el tema ambiental hasta el migratorio, pasando por la reivindicación de los derechos indígenas y el combate a la tortura. Evidencia, además, una germinal confianza en las instituciones que el Estado Constitucional de Derecho ha creado para interpretar el derecho: la rama judicial.
Importante para la OACNUDH es atestiguar cómo la normatividad internacional en derechos humanos gravita en el discurso y en las tácticas y estrategias que diseñan los y las protagonistas, lo cual, a su vez, incita al pronunciamiento desde la judicatura sobre temas novedosos que desafían visiones tradicionales y que aspiran a implementar en el ámbito doméstico los estándares internacionales en materia de derechos humanos.

This publication contains examples of the work undertaken by civil society organizations in Mexico with regards to human rights litigation at the national level. The compilation of essays allows the reader to get to know the increasing interest present in Mexico to explore and to follow a path that until recently was foreign to the world of human rights activism. Is shows that human rights comprise specific agendas, from environmental to migration issues, to the demand of indigenous rights or the fight against torture. It also evidences a seed confidence in the institutions that the Constitutional Rule of Law has created to interpret the la: the judicial branch.

Personal information you submit via your member account, other than information provided or content posted by you to public areas of the Site as described below, is deleted from Namati’s records following the deletion of your account.
