Amnesty: Development Agenda must be grounded in Human Rights

With the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) expiring in 2015, 18 organizations are calling for a paradigm shift.  An agenda with human rights and justice at its core, they say, would help ensure the long-term success of development efforts.

Amnesty International has proposed new targets in line with international human rights laws. So far, 38 organizations have signed on to their proposal.
