Indonesia Readies Free Legal Aid Program

The Indonesian government is in the process of implementing the Legal Aid Law, passed in 2011.  Wicipto Setiadi, Chief of the Law and Human Rights Ministry’s National Law Development Agency (BPHN), explained in Jakarta that the Ministry is now required to draft a ministerial decree and draft government regulation to implement the law.
