Eugênia Alberto

Health Advocate, Inhambane, Mozambique

Eugenia was born and raised in the City of Inhambane and graduated from the Pedagogical University of Maxixe with a bachelor’s degree in educational sciences and a qualification in adult education.

She most recently worked at Mz Nyeleti Consulting in Inhambane, with the IUCN Project on coastal and marine species conservation in Dunes de Dovela, and as a mechanical material distributor in South Africa. She also worked at SAAJ as a Generation Biz Activist, where she received training in gender equality, family planning, HIV/AIDS, and domestic violence.

Eugenia also works at Rádio Mocambique in Inhambane, as the host of the Jovem Madzaha ni dzi Mbiri Program.

When not working, Eugenia is often enjoying the beautiful beaches of the Inhambane Province or practicing traditional dances.
