John holds a Higher Teachers Certificate from Northern Polytechnic, now Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology Makeni, where he studied Language Arts and Religious and Moral Education. He worked as a teacher at a secondary school for girls before joining Timap for Justice in 2007. John served with Timap for Justice for 6 years, working in 3 districts across Sierra Leone as a paralegal, manager, and lead paralegal. He joined Namati as a Legal Empowerment Paralegal in 2017 and currently works in the Port Loko office.
