Mustapha was born in western Freetown, Sierra Leone. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Project Management and Diplomas in Project Management, Designing and Implementing Monitoring and Evaluations Systems, and Early Childhood Care and Education, as well as several certificates in different courses. As an undergraduate, Mustapha served as an IT and English Language teacher at a secondary school in Freetown. In 2015, he joined Concern Worldwide where he served as a data clerk, managing Ebola Response data. He later served as Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor attached to the Education Sector.
He joined Namati Sierra Leone in 2017 as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. He enjoys watching or playing football, listening to music, and telling funny stories.
