Six years after the enactment of the Community Land Act in Kenya, this report reflects on progress made and draws lessons to better inform the registration process. It looks back in detail on the transition of undissolved group ranches to community land and draws lessons for all relevant actors in ensuring that the spirit of this progressive law is not lost in its implementation.
